India vs South Africa Match Preview: Must Win for both teams

It is going to be a clash of epic proportions in the first quarter final match of Group B!
It is India versus South Africa!
Their progression in the tournament has been quite similar with both winning their first match with ease and very unexpectedly losing their second game! On paper, both the teams look very strong but India lack one thing - A wrist spinner!
A wrist spinner is always very handy and can take wickets whenever you hand him the ball.
Maybe, the selectors could have taken Yuzvendra Chahal or Kuldeep Yadav instead of Ravichandran Ashwin, who has not even got a game in both of India's matches.
Batting looks very strong of both the sides. Both the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have been in excellent form, getting hundred run partnerships in both the matches and setting up the foundation for the middle order to put up a big score. Was good to see the experienced players getting back into form - Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni playing vital knocks in the last few overs and pushing the team to a big total. Bowling has been decent as well.
Coming to South Africa, Amla and Quinton De Cock have not been that consistent at the top of the order. Du Pleasis has been good at number 3 and has been scoring in 2017. The disappointed this tournament has been AB De Villiers, the world number 1 batsman in the 50 over format, who has got scores of 4 and 0 in both the matches versus Sri Lanka and Pakistan respectively. David Miller has been playing good knocks towards the end of the innings supported by Duminy and Morris. The bowling attack has been good with Kagiso Rabada, Morne Morkel and Imran Tahir.
Predictions : India shall win after a close battle with the bat and ball.
Cheers,
Sparsh
